who hires us?
Typically, we are contacted by individual elders, their family members, their neighbors or friends, elder law attorneys, and/or senior care managers.

Our clients often include elders such as those who are "solo aging" without family. Some have family who live at a geographic distance or whose professional/childcare obligations make it difficult to meet all of the client's needs. We also work with those who have gone through a "gray divorce" or recent widowhood and may need assistance if they are suddenly adjusting to life alone. Additionally, we are frequently contacted by elder care attorneys whose clients need us to serve as their Power of Attorney. Finally, we are contacted by Care Managers when their clients may have social needs or financial tasks not covered by the Care Manager's scope of service. For example - if a care manager would like us to take a client on weekly walks, to appointments, to curate a special social outing, or to help facilitate the payment of a client's utilities and other bills.
what do we do?
As you'll see from our "About Us" and "Our Services" pages, we intentionally formed our company as a team of professionals from three different fields so that we can offer a wide array of customizable services to meet you and your family's particular needs. As a unit, we are less a single type of provider but more of a Care Collective, one that can design a plan that works just for you.

Some of the work we do or have done for current clients includes (but is not limited to):

-
Daily Money Management: bill pay, organizing tax documents.
-
Serving as Power of Attorney or Executor of Estates.
-
Contractor Management: Coordinating with contractors and realtors to modify existing homes and/or prepare homes for sale when clients need to move.
-
Organizational and Archival Services: Helping to downsize before a move. Setting up a new assisted living apartment to look and feel like home before you or a loved one arrive. Moving larger pieces of furniture to assisted living apartments, shredding old documents, getting family photos digitized, packing services to help make a move easier and less stressful. Organizing and facilitation of estate sales. We can pack you or your loved one so that you can focus more on the emotional needs of your move.
-
Curated Cultural Events: to help elders who may no longer drive but still desire outings, we go on cultural events to places like The Fox, the High Museum, the Atlanta Zoo, restaurants, or even weekend trips. This can be tailored to you and your loved one's interests and can include other clients if a group outing is desired.
-
Small Home Repair and Maintenance Tasks: hanging televisions, photos, or art, small repair work, painting, completing honey-do list type items.
-
Car Assistance: coordinating repairs, dropping off vehicles to get them ready for sale, assisting with the sale of vehicles.
-
Outdoor Excursions: we have multiple clients who enjoy guided hikes or being on walkways or trails with wheelchairs or other assisted mobility devices. We offer trips to the Atlanta Beltline, nature preserves, and parks to help seniors benefit from being in nature. This can be done in groups for more social interaction or for individuals.
-
Non-Emergency Transportation and Companion Services: multiple ride-share services exist, but many clients prefer the same driver each week and someone who can assist them beyond just transportation. We often take clients to medical appointments, the grocery store, to family events like weddings, celebrations, or funerals (where we can sit with the client as a companion to help with their needs).
-
Pet Services: some clients strongly desire to keep their pets with them at home or when they move to an assisted living apartment. If mobility or transportation issues are a barrier to keeping a furry friend with you or a loved one, we can come by to walk animals, scoop litter boxes, pick up heavy pet food at the store, and transport your pet to the vet for emergency or non-emergency visits. Additionally, if you or your loved one no longer has a pet but could benefit from some time with furry friends, we frequently bring our small dog out for walks with clients and/or our sweet senior cat to snuggle up in bed to purr and nap with our clients at assisted living facilities.
-
Other Needs: trust us - we have kind of heard it all! If you think you or a relative has a need or you see a way we can make life more joyful, meaningful, or easy but cannot find a provider, please ask ask us! We may be able to help or find you someone who can!
